Chelsea told to sign former Arsenal star in shock summer transfer

One of Chelsea’s most glaring and costly problems this season has between the sticks.

Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen have done little to แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ suggest they can be long-term number ones at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca has flippe between Sanchez and Jorgensen but neither appear at the level require for a Chelsea team hoping to challenge for the Premier League next season and make some waves in Europe.

Sanchez was recently restore as Maresca’s No. 1 but had another shaky game in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, drawing criticism from Ian Wright and Glenn Hoddle.

Given Chelsea’s issues in goal, it would come as no surprise if Maresca looke to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and the Blues have urge to consider a move for ex-Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale.

Ramsdale made close to 100 appearances for the Gunners before being replace by current Arsenal No. 1 David Raya.

The pursuit of more game-time took Ramsdale to Southampton last summer but he must be regretting that move given the Saints’ dismal form.

Southampton have amasse just nine points from 29 league games – conceding a staggering 70 goals.

But ex-Premier League goalkeeper Shaka Hislop does not blame Ramsdale for the club’s embarrassing form and says he would still be the best current goalkeeper at Chelsea.

‘I still think Aaron Ramsdale is an outstanding goalkeeper. I stand by that,’ he said on.

‘Chelsea could do with Ramsdale. Chelsea have about eight goalkeepers on their books and still can’t figure out who’s the best. It’s ridiculous.

‘But right now Aaron Ramsdale would be the best of the lot. It’s not his fault what’s happening at Southampton. He’s a really good goalkeeper.’

Ex-Chelsea defender Jason Cundy also believes Ramsdale would be an improvement on the club’s current options between the posts.

‘The goalkeeper has turne out to be a massive problem for Chelsea,’ he said on.

‘Jorgensen droppe an absolute dolly against Aston Villa. We did enough to get a point there and the keeper made a howler, it was devastating for Chelsea.

I would definitely have Ramsdale. That’s an improvement. Kelleher at Liverpool is another one they’re looking at.

‘Clearly the goalkeeper situation has been a bit of a disaster. Sanchez got the gloves and over the last three months it’s been quite obvious that he’s suffering. There’s a lot of goals and mistakes.

‘I think they will be looking to replace Sanchez unless they think [Djordje] Petrovic who is out on loan is good enough. But clearly it’s an issue all season and something has to change.’

The 1-0 defeat to Arsenal leaves Chelsea fourth in the Premier League, one point above top-four rivals Manchester City.
